Mom and Dad's 25th Anniversary

My mom and dad have been married for 25 years on November 13th. Stacey and I decided to do something special. We tried to think of something fun, but unsuspecting, so we decided on Dave and Busters. (We had a couple of other places in mind, but they didn't work out). We had a few of their friends meet there and Adam and I brought mom and dad in. Let's see, Lane and Sabrina Mashburn, Matt and Dot Outler, Bill and Debbie Hagan, Nana, Stacey, and of course myself and Adam, and mom and dad. They had no idea! So much so, that mom didn't even want to go to D&B's. Of course, we were also about 15 minutes late....After we ate, we had a really good time playing all the games. (I think my dad and Mr. Lane may have had the most fun!). Oh yeah, pay close attention to the flowers on the table, that was mom's vase and Nana's bow. Stacey bought the flowers- she was on a budget! :)
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Adam is a celebrity!

Tonight, Adam, Stacey, and I all went to the End Zone, a show that Rashean Mathis does. It filmed at a restuarnt in Jax Beach. There was a reporter from Channel 4 there and we were making jokes about not making eye contact with the cameraman! Well low and behold, the reporter comes up to Adam and asks if he could interview him. :) After wiping the barbeque sauce from his face, he sat up straight and gave his goofy smile!!! Well we came home and waited to see if he would make it to the news, and quess what?! He did! It was great! Way better than I could have done on the spot. I am still looking for a video to upload.

Happy Birthday Adam!

Today is Adam's 26th Birthday! He is over the halfway mark to 50. Man he is old! The joy of being married to someone who is 3 years older is that I can tease him about how old he is. We are going to eat with my parents tonight, so we had his cake last night. (Of course I messed it up, it crumpled to pieces, but it isn't the look that makes it taste good, so it turned out alright. I did wake him up this morning with a happy birthday song and some hot chocolate. I hope he has a great day- Happy Birthday Adam!
