Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

On Tuesday night while we were down in Orlando we decided to go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We have always done the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party but everyone always told us to do the Halloween one, so we decided to take advantage of the opportunity while we were already down there and take Ava.



Ava wanted to dress as Sophia, which worked out perfectly since A.) We already had the outfit and B.) That's who she wanted to see at Hollywood Studios on Thursday.

 

Mom, Dad, Adam, Ava, myself, and Mrs. Teresa (an employee from the store) all went for the evening/night. The weather was fantastic, I even got a little cool (which I am NOT going to complain about!). The crowds were the lowest we had ever seen. I think we did just about everything in the park in about 3 hours time, due to no waits at anything!



 

 

She, of course, had to wear a birthday button since her birthday was the week before. Princess Sophia :)



 

 

I didn't take too many pictures, because really, how many pictures can you have of her doing the same things each time we go...

 

But I did take pictures of her with Ariel. As you know she had an Ariel birthday party this year so she was telling her all about it. 

 

Ariel was such a good sport and listened and asked all kinds of questions about it.



 

I know why Buzz Lightyear (or the Toy Story Ride at H.S.) is such a big hit...because no matter your age or gender you all enjoy the ride!

We found the dance party with Sulley and Mike Wazowski.



The "old"er people left earlier than we did and we made our way up to see Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes.



 

Then we settled into a spot for the parade. Before the parade they had a dance party in the street and Ava went out in the middle. 

 

I should post a video because pictures just do not do it justice... She was dancing her little heart out!



 

I'm telling you- when she is dancing she becomes a different person...I'm not sure if I should be concerned about that or not- haha!



We had such a good time, but it was hard to get up the next morning! Luckily we had a short walk to the convention and we didn't have any plans the following night!
