Cookies for Santa

I had to work on Christmas Eve so the first part of Christmas Eve was going to be a daddy-daughter day. However, first thing that morning we received a call that the computers were down at the store, so Adam threw on some clothes and head up to see if he could fix it (which he was). So since I was up and ready I thought Ava and I could go ahead and make cookies for Santa.

She did much better on the sprinkle part this time (as compared to the cake). She is finally starting to see that less is more :)

She absolutely loves being in the kitchen and at least feeling like she is doing something, of course this particular morning she really was. After she felt like the cookies had been decorated enough for Santa we put them in the oven and let them bake. After taking them out and taste testing them to make sure they tasted good ;) we placed them on the special “Cookies for Santa” plate. 

I’m pretty sure Santa is going to like these cookies :)
