Charlie Brown Christmas Party

    

Some dear friends of ours hosted a family Christmas party with the theme “A Charlie Brown Christmas” or as Ava affectionately calls it- “Snoopy”

  

During the party, all of the kids went upstairs to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas movie. Ava and Caleb were by far the youngest ones there, but they liked thinking they could run with the big kids :)

    

At some point during the movie Ava moved into Chloe’s lap- she hearts her :)

 

Caleb and Ava both had their fair share of cookies and Ava had roasted a marshmallow and made a smore, that she no longer wanted, so we offered it to Caleb who gladly accepted it. Although this picture makes him look as if we caught him with his hand in the cookie jar…. so cute!

When we were saying our good-byes for the night and thanking our wonderful hosts we were given goodie bags, and ornament with our family name (which I absolutely LOVE) and a present. Well since I knew what the gift was, I decided to wait and let Ava open it. She fell asleep on the way home, so the next morning I let her open it.

She was so excited since she had been eying the presents under the tree that she wasn’t allowed to open, she was finally allowed to have one- thanks to Nikki!

We had to go through the book as soon as she opened it- I have a feeling this will become a Christmas favorite year after year!
