Wedding on the Beach

The day before Mother’s day, a friend of ours was getting married on the beach. Adam and I have lived near the beach our entire lives and yet, somehow, this was the first wedding we have ever been to that was actually on the beach- weird isn’t it?!

At the reception, Ava was dying to dance. She had asked her daddy repeatedly about dancing, but he kept telling her to wait, he didn’t want the be the first (and/or only) ones on the dance floor :)

Fortunately, Clint was there to the rescue and hoped up and took Ava to dance, she had a grand ole time and thought she was something else. We were actually all very surprised she went- sometimes she is so timid about stuff like that.

Not to be outdone :) , Adam took his girl out on the dance floor and twirled her around to her hearts content! She just had an absolute ball!

It was a very sweet wedding and we all had a great time! The bride was absolutely stunning and her dress was beautiful, and of course, Nathan was just as handsome as always.

When Nathan and Jessica were walking around talking to everyone at the different tables, Ava caught a glimpse of Jessica and I wish I had been able to get a picture of the expression on her face! It was priceless- it was pure awe with a little bit of a gasp! and then she looked at me and said- ‘The Princess!!’ haha! Perhaps we went a little overboard on the whole Royal Wedding thing… ;)
