Easter Bunny

IMG_11391

The Easter Bunny came to visit on Friday night, we felt that Sunday mornings are already really hectic and we were going to have a long day as it was, so to allow Ava the opportunity to actually play with her new gifts, Saturday morning would be ideal. Plus, we felt that this would allow Easter Sunday to be all about Jesus, which is the real reason anyways. I knew it was going to be a fun visit from the bunny, Ava is at a really fun age and there were a few gifts in her basket I was really excited about myself ;) The night before we colored a picture for the Easter Bunny and left it for him beside Ava’s basket.

Growing up, the Easter Bunny had always hidden our baskets and as we got older- it became more of a challenge to find them- we couldn’t wait to see where the newest hiding place was- it was almost as exciting as what was in the basket…almost…

Ava found hers, with a little help from Mommy and Daddy, in the guest bathroom. She was so excited :)

One of my favorite gifts in her basket was the movie Tangled. This was the first (and only so far) movie Ava saw in the theaters and it was such a cute movie- Adam even enjoyed it. I couldn’t wait to get it for Ava!

She also got a couple more movies, a sticker book that has reusable stickers, tons of candy, bath dropz, a singing Belle, a slick looking Ken, a Rapunzel charm for her bracelet, a couple of pool toys, a personalized book with stories from Cinderella, Auroa, and Ariel (its a super cute book and adds her name into the story- she loves it!) and a new bible.

We had bought her a toddler bible that was great for reading stories, but we bought one that was for more of the preschool age now that her attention span is growing. It has a little more detail in the stories- she likes reading about Jesus, as she says, before bed.

She also got this big chocolate bunny! It’s going to take her a while to eat all the candy she received! Oh and I must also add that the bunny left so powdered doughnuts for us to have for breakfast, notice the white powder around her mouth.

Adam received a nice basket from the bunny was well with candy and a steering wheel to use with the new nascar game for the wii, which would have been in the basket as well if it’s release date hadn’t been pushed back….
