Drummer Girl

The guys were playing at Mr. Charlie Gressman’s birthday party and I graciously allowed their musical instruments to overtake my front room. (I truly didn’t mind, but I was glad to see them go- haha!) Ava has played the piano and guitar, but decided to try her hand at the drums.

Clint had the full set-up and the next morning when she and I were the only ones home, she snuck over to them and not surprisingly knew to pull out the drum sticks and play! Fortunately she wasn’t really hard on them so they didn’t make that much noise. I think I’ve also become accustomed to the noise since between Ava and Adam, someone’s always playing an instrument.

She acted like she knew what she was doing and each morning, as soon as she got up she would want to play the drums. When she woke up and they weren’t there, she wanted to know why Mr. Clint took her drums and where did he take them. Maybe she can go to his house and play them….. :)
