Happy Halloween & Birthday to Daddy!

 

For Halloween Ava didn’t dress up- we weren’t going to be Trick-or Treating, so we just decided to let her wear her Halloween outfit and get as much use out of it as possible. We stayed home and passed out tons of candy and this cute pumpkin came by to pick up a very special treat bucket Ava had made for her.

   

Raeleigh is quite possibly Ava’s favorite person in the world. She loves this girl.

 

Since Adam’s birthday is the next day, we had my parents and his parents over to celebrate. Ava and I made a cake. Along with helping me mix the batter (and lick all the spoons…) Ava put the sprinkles on top all by herself. She was quite proud of the job she did.

Adam’s favorite cake is just plain yellow cake with chocolate frosting…so plain…if it was my birthday, my request would be my Nana’s carrot cake- its soooo good! At least it makes for an easy birthday cake…

  

Ava wanted to help blow out the candle. She is all about birthdays now that she understands them a little more, but because she had 2 cousins that turned 1 this past September she thinks everyone gets messy when they eat cake. haha!

 

Adam opened up a couple of presents with Ava’s help and the trick or treating fun began!
