Jax Jazz Fest 2013

For the past several years we have attended the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. Sometimes it has been just Adam and me, but most years we have opted to take Ava as she enjoys the music. It never fails, she seems to attract the attention of near by jazz-lovers and they always comment on how cute she is and on her 'dancing'. She has got some moves! ha! She will be just a movin' and groovin' along with the music and sometimes its all Adam and I can do to keep from busting out laughing- not at the fact that she looks funny but at the fact that we have absolutely no idea where she learned some of the moves she does!




The Jazz Fest is situated throughout downtown and has various stages, so usually we try to see several different musicians and we just move from stage to stage, however, this year, becuase we had been at the lake all day on Saturday, we opted to just go listen to Trombone Shorty on Sunday night.




It was really packed when we made it down there. This is the latest we have ever arrived at the festival, and I don't know that we will wait that long again! We didn't get really good seats, but we could still hear the music really well. It almost seems as though it has gotten to the point its too big for the current set up they have, I don't know what another option might be, but I would assume that is a good problem to have :)

It was a beautiful night and we all three enjoyed the time together!
