Family Day at the Lake

 

We had such a great day on Easter with the family, we decided to do it again! Michael and Melissa invited everyone down to the lake house to spend the day and if you know anything about my husband you know he is crazy about the lake, me? well not so much...but I knew it would be fun with everyone there.

Since it was Memorial Day weekend, I made this simple fruit and cheese platter- it turned out so cute!

Ava was excited she got to spend some time with Camden, the newest edition to their generation, she calls him 'Butterball', haha! Its so cute, as is he!

We wanted to get a picture of all the great-great grandchildren since this was the first time they were all 4 in the same place. We started with Dylan holding Camden

Then we added Caden, so all the boys!

Then Ava came in to the picture.. haha!

Finally Raeleigh made it!

But Caden decided to be a cut-up! haha!

So if you are ever wondering how many picture it takes to get a good picture with 4 kids, well, a lot, it is definitely a process! And although they are in bathing suits and messy hair (Camden and Caden just had a complete bad hair day- haha!) its one of my favorite pictures!

We spent the day on the boat, riding jet skis, eating, wakeboarding, tubing, and enjoying being around family. I have several videos and didn't take near enough pictures, but some days its more important for us to take a mental picture! We headed home after dark and we didn't make it 5 miles down the road before Ava was out! A full day of family fun will wear anyone out!
