Saturdays

As of this very moment, we have 674 Saturdays left until Ava graduations- 674!!! If that doesn't give you a kick in the pants to make the most of your time with your child, I don't know what will- because when you factor in how many Saturdays she will not *want* to spend with you (hello teenager!) you are left with significantly less. Of course, we would all like to assume that our child will always want to be with Mom and Dad, but lets get real... I'm just hoping she still actually *likes* me at that point...ha!

All that being said, we have been making the most of our Saturdays as a family. Since about March, we have spent a majority of our Saturdays in town- we have hit up Metro Diner a few times.



Adam just can't resist their Chicken n Waffles- he is crazy about it!



We've also been to the Riverside Arts Market several times and this little one has learned the joy of face paintings!



We mainly go to pick up fresh produce from local farms, but Ava enjoys going for other reasons... face painting, juggler-watching, popcorn, cookies...



I did get an excellent crepe from this little food truck, it was delish! and she had excellent lemonade!



We've also stopped by and experienced the hottest coffee place in town (no pun intended! ha!)- Bold Bean. I got their Honey Latte and Adam got their Chocolate Latte- both were good, but we both preferred the chocolate latte over the honey.



My mom has been with us several times and Adam's mom joined us one morning. Its been a nice little Saturday morning time as a family, plus it gets us up and out fairly early so we don't sit around the house all day.



I imagine now that the weather is warming up, more of our Saturdays will consist of playing in the pool, but I'm determined to make the most of each one, because after this Saturday I only have 673 left!
