Trunk or Treat

FBC held their Trunk and Treat on the Sunday night before Halloween. Ava was excited to go and see her friends, plus any excuse to wear her Rapunzel dress is fine by her . First person we saw when we walked in was Caden- dressed as a gnome- he was so cute- but didn’t want to have his picture taken!



We walked around a little bit with Baylie. They had to stop and pet the bulldog.



Tons of candy was handed out- as if we needed that laying around the house….

 



Mrs. Cathy and Mr. Rick were ‘clowning’ around and handing out balloons.



We ran into Nana

They all climbed aboard the hayride, which wasn’t nearly as spooky as the Singley’s Halloween hay ride.



Thank goodness John volunteered to hop aboard the ride to keep and eye on the kids!



They had a big bouncy slide so I brought Ava a change of clothes- fortunately- she had so much fun on that thing. Unfortunately she had already changed when we ran into her good friend Ana Brook

This is the only picture I took of her going down the slide- I couldn’t keep up with her. At one point Jenny, Jason, and I were watching them all go down the slide and we saw an older boy do a front flip down the slide, so naturally, Trevor followed suit. Well Ava’s turn was next and I just KNEW my girl, my timid, scared, shy, not-a-dare-devil daughter of a child would go down the normal way…ha! She did a front flip down it like she was a pro at it. All of our jaws dropped, we couldn’t believe it! ha ha!
