A long awaited visit....

Some of you may remember this post from last October. The last time Molly saw Ava (live and not in pictures) was when she was only 5 weeks old. Molly was back in town for a few weeks and we couldn't wait to see her. Ava is quite the grown-up compared to the last visit. Molly and I are cousins and grew up very close to each other. We actually sat around during the visit chatting about dance recitals and ace conventions and pictures with John Madden. It's still somewhat surreal to think about how we are both grown and I have a child. I realize how lucky I was/am to have a family that was not only my family, but best friends. The memories we made in their playhouse and canoeing in my backyard that had been temporarily turned into a lake (thanks to a lot of rainshowers) will forever be etched into my mind. I know that one day, Ava will be able to sit around and listen to us recollect these memories laughing with us, and I hope she will be able to create her own that are just as fascinating to remember as mine are.

We love you Molly and are so glad we were able to see you- it will hold us over until you return this fall :)
