Christmas Morning

Santa came to see Ava and brought her a bunch of goodies!

He brought her a set of golf clubs since her daddy was getting a new set this Christmas, and he brought her a pink tricycle and her very own chair for her mommy's office. There were also several little gifts and she took her time looking at each one of them. The first thing she did was come in, take everything off the chair and sit down. After giving her a chance to look at what Santa brought, we let her open her gifts that were under the tree.

Wooden puzzles were a great gift this year. She received a few of them and loves playing with them. She does really well with them too, she is just growing up way to fast!

Another hit this year were baby dolls. She loves to be a little mommy! It's so amazing to think that it comes so naturally for girls, I didn't sit down and talk with her about being a mom, she just naturally likes to care for the dolls. It's so sweet!

She also likes her golf club set. I think it will be really cute to get pictures of both of them playing with their new sets in the yard.

It took a little coaxing, but she finally got on her trike and she loved it! It's a little big for her now, but it has a handle on the back so her daddy or I can push her and she can ride it. I know its a gift that she will grow into and love.

Putting together another puzzle with daddy!

I think she was trying to see how comfortable the chair was to sleep in. We were cleaning up the trash and looked over and this is how she was. It was really cute! She acts so grown sometimes I have to remind myself that she is still only 15 months old!
Christmas morning was nice to be able to actually have time for just our little family before the madness began. Ava slept until 8 (wooohooo!) and then just took our time letting her play with each thing she received. I try to remind myself to slow down and enjoy these little moments. Its so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and I will be the first to admit that I do every year, but I knew I wanted Christmas morning to be about us and our family time.
