2 Week Checkup

Ava went for her 2 week doctor's visit and had a great report. Her weight had dropped from 5 lbs 12 oz to 5 lbs 3 oz which is the 10 % line the doctors do not like to see them drop below. We had been working hard to get her weight back up to her birth weight, or at least headed in the right direction. We weighed her and she had gained 7 oz in 5 days, she now weights 5 lbs 11 oz! She has grown a half inch in 2 weeks so is now 19.5 inches long and her head is 13.25 inches around. She is growing sooooo fast. The doctor checked out her eyes, ears, and mouth and made sure everything else looked good and he said she is perfect (of course, we didn't have to go to the doctor's office to know that!) We are still having trouble finding clothes that fit, she has out grown the preemie size clothes, but she is really still too skinny for the newborn clothes, but I know it won't be long.....
