Cupcake Party

Ava had been asking about having a cupcake decorating party for her birthday, which I had been on the fence about, just because we would end up having 2 separate parties, one for family and one for friends (aka the cupcake party). Tracy decided to set up party/get-together for Bailey and some of her friends at Sweet by Holly's so naturally, Ava was very excited about it.



Each child received 4 mini cupcakes and there was a wide array of icing and toppings they could choose from to decorate with.



After brief instructions on what to do, the kids went to town decorating.



It was so funny watching all of them, they were all very particular about how they decorated their cupcakes.







This is something you could easily replicate on your own, but at $10 a child and they are willing to set-up and clean-up it was totally worth it to do it here!

At the end the hostess asked each decorator to pick out their favorite cupcake. Ava picked the one she called "Halloween" since someone mentioned it looked like a Halloween cupcake.



After each one picked their favorite out they 'judged' the cupcakes and decided they were all decorated so well they were going to let each child pick out their own cupcake from the case. So they all ended up with 5 mini cupcakes plus the fun of decorating them for $10

After everything was over and cupcakes were boxed up, we picked out a few cupcakes to take come, we knew Adam would be upset with us if we came home empty handed!
