White Springs

 

We took a trip to White Springs to see Christmas lights because we heard they were supposed to be really good.... I'll put it this way. The kids had a great time and we all rode together so that made it really fun (or funny). Does that tell you our sentiments about the lights?



 

 

The picture above was really cute of Brody and Ava, right? Well here was the 'behind-the-scenes' picture of what was actually happening. Trevor insisted he stand off to the side for the picture. I think he liked being taller than the other 2.



 

 

There was a model train station set up, so they of course loved watching the train go by. The Engineer would slow it down as it got right in front of them so they could really see it.





 

We went on  a week night so it wasn't crowded at all. I heard that it gets crazy crowded on the weekend. They had several activities for the kids to do and things to see, but our crew would have been just as fine running and playing anywhere.







It "snowed" so the 3 munchkins had a good time running in the snow. We stopped the only long enough to take a picture and then back to running in it they went.



We left the guys to shop...???



After grabbing some popcorn and eating by the fire we decided to head somewhere to eat. We stopped at Moe's (which by the way we had tried to find before we made it to the park and apparently either Adam's 'just around the corner' is 30 minutes away or he can't tell his left from his right.... It might actually be a combination of the two ;) So we scrubbed the idea of eating first and decided to eat afterwards. After dinner we headed home and it didn't take long for the 2 boys to  be out! Ava on the other had, being the kid that needs no sleep, was awake the entire trip home.

Overall we weren't super impressed, but I'm glad we tried it because now we know and plus, its always a good time when you spend it with friends!
