Rockstars

The last post I wrote was about Ava and I being sick...thank goodness we are over it. It was one of those sicknesses where even after you cleared the visible symptoms you were still completely drained. I had absolutely no energy to do anything for several days after. However, the weekend held a lot of activities and I was deteremined to not miss out on all of them. Mrs. Sabrina (also known as Aunt Beena) and Mr. Lane held a costume party at their house and I knew Adam really wanted to do something other than sit around the house so I thought I would try to go- I knew if it started feelinig bad we could come back home or I could go inside and lay down. I went to the costume store the day of the party to try and find something. I know I spent at least an hour- if not more- trying to figure out what to do. I finally decided and thanks to my dear friend Lyndsie- I made it out with only a dent in my checking account! As soon as I got back home we had to start getting ready...I wasn't quite ready for the full affect Adam's costume would have on me- everytime I saw him I laughed- the costume was so him!

We really had a great time hanging out with friends and Ava did great with all the people in costumes, she never seemed to get scared, she did want to hang out with Mama most of the night, but I think that was only because it was dark and she couldn't figure out who everyone was....
