Cornfield Maze

It was a beautiful day on Saturday, albeit a little warm for my likings, but a beautiful day nonetheless. We decided to take Ava to the Conrfield Maze and see what kind of trouble she could get into. She is such a fun, happy child that it makes it near impossible to leave her anywhere because you know she is going to do so good wherever we go!

First thing we did after we paid, was head over to the maze. I have been to this cornfield maze before, but never have I actually walked through the maze. The only other time I have ever been in a cornfield maze was up in Pennsylvania, back during the summer between my 7th and 8th grade year- we had so much fun trying to find out way thru the maze!

Right before we entered the maze, I realized, as I was trying to take pictures, that my camera didn't have the card in it- uh-oh!! Thank goodness I realized before we started and even more thanks that I had only left it in the car!

After making our way thru the maze, we opted to stop after reaching the half-way point. It was a little too hot to keep going. We decided to walk over to the animals and visit.

Ava is an animal lover! She loves all kinds of animals and loves to watch them. The goats were by far the most entertaining of them all since they kept trying to eat us! :)

This particular goat (above and below) was really infatuated with Ava. However, once Ava realized they could stick their heads thru the fence- she wasn't as thrilled to see them- she prefers to look from a distance.

Daddy and Ava on top of the Hay Tractor!

One reason I wanted to visit the maze was to get some cute fall pictures of Ava and I knew they had a pumpkin patch. Silly me should have remembered that Halloween was last weekend- there weren't many pumpkins left- so we set up under this sign for a couple of pictures!

Ava is still a little young to enjoy it to the extent it was designed to be enjoyed- but we had a great time spending the day as a family and we all love to be outside, so we were able to take full advantage of it all! Now if we could just get some cool weather to come our way!
